Project Overview

The Cartographer Syndicate is seeking proposals for developing and integrating a comprehensive News Aggregation and Curation System within the Web3 Grant Registry on the Arbitrum network. This system will build upon Crypto Grant Wire is a highly manual update feed that details the happenings across Web3 grants, newly announced funds, DAO Governance, insightful thoughts, and tools for grantors and grantees alike. The goal is to evolve the Crypto Grant Wire into a more comprehensive platform that amalgamates news, updates, and analytical insights with a knowledge base, keeping the grant community, a vital part of our operations, aligned on best practices and abreast of the latest developments.

Awardees — x23.ai will be building on their existing product aggregating data from numerous governance forums, x23 will develop Crypto Grant Wire 2.0 for grant discovery and analysis. They will create a dedicated Grant feed with advanced categorization and prioritization using ML, NLP, and generative AI for real-time information condensing, intelligent ranking, and precise data filtering. Scope of Work

The selected developer or team will design and implement the News Aggregation and Curation System that seamlessly integrates with the Web3 Grant Registry. This includes:

  1. Automating the process of pulling updates from governance forums for anything related to web3 grants.
  2. Implementing an administrator review and approval process for content before updates are sent.
  3. Integrating the Crypto Grant Wire 2.0 into the Web3 Grant Registry, ensuring that updates are accessible from both the Telegram channel and the registry page.
  4. Enhancing the existing data pipelines to collect news and updates from various sources, including social media, blogs, forums, and official announcements.
  5. Refining the algorithms and machine learning models to categorize, prioritize, and filter news based on relevance, impact, and user preferences.
  6. Redesigning and improving the user interface for browsing and searching curated news content within the Web3 Grant Registry.
  7. Implementing a user-friendly email subscription feature that allows users to select DAOs or topics of interest and receive regular email digests containing relevant updates and events.
  8. Providing documentation and user guides for Crypto Grant Wire 2.0 in the form of GitBook or Notion will enable users to effectively access and utilize the curated content.

The proposal should include a detailed plan for developing and integrating Crypto Grant Wire 2.0 and a testing, deployment, and user training timeline.
