Welcome to the Grants product request form! This is where you can submit new requests to the product teams. If this a bug (i.e. something is broken on the site), please follow the steps in the Customer Support Playbook.
Don’t stress too much about diagnosing your need as a bug or a request, as long as you put it here or in the #customer-service channel we’ll get it to the right place. 🙂
Directions
- Click the “new” button at the top right of the “Product Request Inbox” table below
- Fill in the following pieces of information:
- Title: a short description of the idea
- Goal of request: if we build this, what do you think will happen? Does this advance an OKR or key strategy?
- Detailed description: describe your idea with as much detail as possible — where would it appear? What would it do?
- Screenshots or files: if visuals would help describe your idea, please drop them here (optional)
- Close the window — you’re done!
What happens next?
The Grants Product Managers will review these requests on a regular cadence and assign them to the appropriate backlog (you can read more about our backlogs and how we organize work here). When assigned, the PM will also add a link to the relevant tracking doc so you can follow along with the status of your request.
Where’s my request?
There are three views of the request table that are accessed via the dropdown menu to the right of “Product Request Inbox”:
- Unassigned requests: these are requests which the team has either not reviewed or not assigned an owner yet. All new requests go here by default.
- Assigned requests: these are requests that have been assigned to one of the backlogs. If available, there will be a link to the Product Tracking Doc in the far right column.
- All requests: As the name suggests, this is the whole bag of ideas.
Product Request Inbox
