ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Understands and applies the company's sales methodology, processes, and tools.
- Learns applicable sales techniques and strategies through practice and testing of known fundamentals.
- Develops proficiency in presenting, designing, and supporting a solution for a client environment through successful completion of assigned development challenges and projects.
- Available to participate in all sales process phases, including lead generation, prospecting, qualifying leads, and setting appointments for Account Executives.
- Works closely with marketing to follow up on campaigns and provide feedback on lead quality.
- Maintains accurate records in CRM and provides regular forecasts to sales management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated knowledge of sales principles and strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic sales tasks such as cold calling, email outreach, and social selling.
- 3+ years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably in a technology or software company.
- Understanding of CRM systems and sales automation tools.
- Basic knowledge of the technology industry and key players.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
ABILITIES:
- Sales Knowledge: Understands the value of solution selling and knowledge of sales terms (prospect, lead, opportunity, etc.). Expected to obtain relevant sales certifications within the first year.
- CRM Knowledge: Using CRM systems to track leads, opportunities, and sales activities proficiently. Able to generate reports and provide insights to sales management.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to effectively present solutions and handle objections.
- Prospecting Skills: Able to identify and engage potential customers using various channels such as phone, email, social media, and events.
