Purpose

The GSD Passport Engagement Manager within Gitcoin's GSD team enhances lead and opportunity qualification, pipeline management, technical support and guidance, scoping agreements, and client onboarding.

This part-time, hourly role will work approximately 10 hours per week for the GSD Workstream.  Ongoing time commitment will be mutually agreed upon between the individual and GSD Workstream Lead.  The role focuses exclusively on supporting Gitcoin Passport and is tasked with contributing to the achievement of Passport adoption and partnership goals as outlined in the GSD S20/21 Budget:

• Passport Adoption Goal: Increase count to 1.5 million from ~700k-750k.
• API Partnership Goal: Grow API users to > 70 from 30-35.
• On-Chain Partnership Goal: Engage > 5 on-chain partners from 0.

Accountabilities

• Lead and Opportunity Development: Assist the GSD team in lead and opportunity qualification for Gitcoin Passport, evaluating potential and viability, determining alignment, and assessing the likelihood of successful engagement.
• Technical Support and Guidance: Provide internal and external technical assistance for Gitcoin, focusing on Passport-related queries and troubleshooting, ensuring users and partners navigate the ecosystem effectively.
• Scoping Agreements: Collaborate with relevant teams to develop and finalize agreements, delineating the scope, expectations, and deliverables of Passport partnerships, including but not limited to API integrations and onchain collaborations.
• Client Onboarding: Ensure a smooth transition for new clients or partners into the Passport ecosystem, providing comprehensive information, resources, and support.
• Pipeline Management: Effectively manage the Passport pipeline, ensuring thorough follow-up and follow-through on ongoing opportunities.
