One of the core operations for a grant program is fund allocation, or determining how to allocate the available funds among the projects accepted to the program. We use quadratic funding as the fund allocation mechanism in our Gitcoin program, but we need to support a variety of mechanisms (quadratic voting, direct grants, etc) if we want the Grants protocol to support a diverse group of communities.
Our goal is to finish Season 15 with a protocol interface for funding allocation, along with two flavors of quadratic allocation mechanisms that interact with that interface.
