Our goal is to make the Citizens sections of our Discord the hub for those who are interested in helping us achieving our mission, and want to participate in the narratives and products we are building to shape this future.

How to obtain the Citizen role in our Discord?

1. Go to gitcoin.co/discord and join our Discord
2. Go through the onboarding steps and then complete the captcha in the Verify-Here channel

1. Make sure the “Show All Channels” is checked from the server settings. Sometimes discord unchecks this by default.

1. Go to Start-here, read the guidance, hit the Dao Visitor emoji to receive the Dao Visitor role

1. This will unlock the Dao-Start-Here channel, in which once you agree to the rules, you need to react to the green check emoji to gain the Dao-Applicant Role

1. You will then gain access to the citizen-introductions channel where you will be able to type your introduction. This introduction must include the below:

1.) Your Name 2.) Why you want to support Gitcoin + how you want to support Gitcoin + skills/experience you bring to the DAO 3.) Link to one Gitcoin Grant you’re excited about! This link must come explorer.gitcoin.co Please only link to the project’s Gitcoin Grant page - other external links will be deleted.
